The Xbox 360 is a seventh generation console that was released on November 22nd, 2005. There are four versions of the Xbox 360, which are:
  • Xbox 360 Core (discontinued, replaced by Xbox 360 Arcade)
  • Xbox 360 Arcade
  • Xbox 360 Pro
  • Xbox 360 Elite
For the Xbox 360 Pro, there are models with 20GB and 60GB hard drives, so make sure you know which one you are looking to purchase.

Xbox Live is Microsoft's online multiplayer gaming and digital content delivery system. It requires an annual subscription and offers two plans, Silver and Gold. The Silver Membership is free, but only has access to a limited amount of services. The Gold Membership has varying pricing, but a year-long subscription is about $50.
